Matti Tanskanen (b.1982) is an artist and photographer with an artistic research practice. Using transdisciplinary methodology his works explore the characteristics of the photographic medium and images, and their relation to the surrounding environments in various different contexts.

Photography Experiments is a video performance in which I am using my own body as a medium of image-making. I aim to study the event-like qualities of photography through a physical experience and the act of walking.
